Neighborhood Mediation in Our Community

Living Together

Most of the time, we don’t choose the people who live right next to us, and the demands of everyday life—with all that it entails—can sometimes make it difficult to maintain respectful and friendly relationships. Conflicts between neighbors are therefore not uncommon and weigh more or less heavily on daily life. Often, the perceived mistakes of others are taken so seriously that solutions to the problems can no longer be found.

In mediation, the dispute is taken seriously. Here, too, interests and needs must be identified, and an agreement must be reached that is actually enforceable for everyone. Showing tolerance isn’t easy for anyone, but it’s much easier if the points of conflict have been negotiated together. Without a neutral third party, this is very difficult to achieve. Mediation provides a forum that makes it possible for neighbors to live together again. A worthy goal for everyone!
