In the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, individuals who wish to actively contribute to energy savings in their households have access to a wide range of grants and incentives, both at the municipal and national levels.
Municipal grants
The municipality of Garnich is committed to the sustainable and responsible use of resources. The goal is to prevent greenhouse gas emissions and, above all, to significantly reduce annual emissions.
Municipal infrastructure accounts for only a small portion of total greenhouse gas emissions. The largest share comes from private households, which will therefore receive support in the future to implement energy-efficiency measures.
Residents of Garnich are encouraged to play an active role in climate protection to help achieve shared goals and, as part of this effort, are eligible for financial assistance to improve their energy efficiency.

Klima-Agence (Government Grants)
The Klima-Agence (formerly “MyEnergy”) is the national agency dedicated to promoting a sustainable energy transition. Its mission is to assist and support Luxembourg society, acting as a partner and intermediary, in the sustainable and efficient use of energy.
The Klima-Agence is supported by the Luxembourg government, represented by the Ministry of the Economy, the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure, and the Ministry of Housing.
The activities of the Klima-Agence are aimed at:
- reduce energy consumption,
- promote renewable energy,
- promote sustainable construction and housing.
It positions itself as a partner to all energy consumers, supporting them in their efforts toward a sustainable energy transition and thereby contributing to the growth of the national economy.
The Klima-Agence offers advice and support in the housing sector, particularly regarding government grants for new construction and the renovation of residential buildings, including through a new grant simulator.
Enoprimes (by Enovos)
Based on European directives aimed at improving energy efficiency in Europe by 2020, Enovos has launched the “Enoprimes” program.
This is a grant program that supports individuals, businesses, and organizations in carrying out renovation projects and other measures aimed at improving energy efficiency.
