Municipal Coat of Arms
Gules, an anchored cross argent surmounted by a five-pointed mantling azure, mantled with a barry of eight pieces argent and azure, charged in chief with two city gates with three towers gules. The base of the shield symbolizes the “Réibierg,” the highest hill in our municipality.

The municipal coat of arms is derived from two historical coats of arms: one is the coat of arms of the Lords of Kahler (anchored cross), and the other is that of the Provostship of Luxembourg (two city gates and a fascia of silver and azure).
