The municipality is very well connected to the national and regional bus networks. Neighboring municipalities, the nearest central municipalities, and the capital, Luxembourg City, are easily accessible via the existing RGTR bus network.

Within the municipality, there are a sufficient number of bus stops, all within walking distance of residential neighborhoods. This basic service is supplemented on weekends by various night bus services and event-specific routes, which operate mainly in the evening and at night:

  • For example, the LateNightBus operates as a shuttle service during certain events on Friday and Saturday nights.
  • The NightRider is part of the regular nighttime transit schedule.

The regular service is supplemented by the Proxibus, an on-demand transportation service. The Proxibus currently serves as an alternative to public and private transportation for residents in the northern and eastern parts of the country, covering 40 municipalities and 80,000 residents.

This service is available to anyone who wants to get around comfortably, safely, and flexibly for short trips, primarily within the town and its immediate surroundings.

In partnership with local municipalities, Proxibus provides transportation services for adults (shopping, doctor’s appointments, restaurants, hair salons, work, etc.) as well as for young people and children (sports practices, music lessons, after-school care, daycare centers, dance classes, LASEP, etc.).
