The College of the Mayor and Aldermen meets as often as necessary to ensure the prompt handling of business, either on the days and at the times set forth in its rules of procedure, or upon the mayor’s call. It may deliberate only if more than half of its members are present.

Resolutions are adopted by a majority vote. In the event of a tie, and if the chair does not defer the matter to another meeting, the chair has the casting vote.

Unless otherwise provided by law, meetings of the College of the Mayor and Aldermen are held in camera.
